Most people I know (namely, me) look up to celebrities for the latest in diet or weight loss programs. This morning, I have read this article about celebrities who lost weight in 2008 and I'm curious as to what diet or program they were into.
1. Gwyneth Paltrow
Did she ever get fat in the first place? Well, apparently she gained a few pounds post-holiday season. She then tried
Master Cleanse program when you consume nothing but water, lemon juice, maple syrup and cayenne pepper for a minimum of 10 days. Maple syrup, yes! Cayenne pepper, hmm!
2. Naomi Watts
After giving birth, Naomi swore that breastfeeding helped her shed off those baby weight.
3. Elisabeth Hasselbeck
She has celiac disease so she stayed on a
wheat-free diet and relied on lean protein, vegetables, nutrition bars and nuts. She also went to La Palestra for her workouts.
4. Britney Spears
Britney made a huge comeback late last year and a part of her success can be attributed to the fact that she got her fabulous body back. How she did it? Insane cardio workouts several times a day and this new food delivery craze in CA called Sunfare
5. Halle Berry
(I like this one). After giving birth, Berry supposedly used the
5-Factor Fitness Plan
, which includes an exercise program of 25 minutes five times a week and eating five meals per day. Doesn't sound bad: No carb counting!
6. Fergie
The Black Eyes Peas singer was photographed last year with a slight bump prompting the circulation of pregnancy rumors. How she got her body back? Two-hour morning jogs and food delivery service Diet Designs.
